Just as with other Apple devices, it is relatively easy to transfer songs to iPad from MP3 player on your computer. Doing so can allow you to listen to music anywhere you take your iPad. Step 1: Connect iPad to computer and add songs to iTnes

Connect iPad with your computer and open iTunes and Click "File" on iTunes menu and select "Add File to Library" to add music to iTunes library.

In the resulting window (within iTunes), select the "Music" tab from the top of the screen. In this screen, you will be able to select what MP3 player music you wish to put to the iPad. You can choose from your entire song library or individual playlists.
